Boise Comic Arts Festival is a two-day comics celebration that includes presentations, performances, panel discussions, an exhibition area featuring gaming & vendors, and an Artists’ Alley with local and international comic authors and artists. BCAF 2020 will take place August 29 & 30 at JUMP (Jack’s Urban Meeting Place), 1000 W Myrtle Street, Boise, Idaho.
BCAF's standard table space is 4’ x 2.5’. An exhibitor fee of $30 for each 4’ x 2.5’ of space granted is due by May 1, 2020. There is no application fee.
BCAF is a curated show. While we seek to highlight the best artists working in Boise’s growing comics community, we also welcome creators from around the world. Establishing a forum for connection and collaboration is central to our mission, as is representing the broad diversity within comics. Tables are not allotted on a first come, first served basis, but rather are awarded based on the recommendations of a selection jury. The jury will take into consideration a variety of criteria to determine which exhibitors represent the best fit for the show. Priority is given to comics-related creators, publishers, and vendors.
The application period is open for six weeks. We encourage you to take your time and put together a strong application. Please direct any questions you have to jshapel@cityofboise.org. The application period will run until Monday, March 23.
